RI Convention — Singapore 2024
IFCR's third consecutive fellowship booth in the House of Friendship — a 'hat-trick' after Houston 2022 and Melbourne 2023.
In response to a mail from the RI Fellowship committee, IFCR formally applied for a fellowship booth in the House of Friendship during the Rotary International Convention in Singapore, scheduled from 25th to 29th May 2024.
This was the third consecutive year — after Houston '22 and Melbourne '23 (a hat-trick in cricket parlance) — that IFCR opted for a booth during the International Convention, promoting the fellowship to Rotarians from around the world.
As the convention drew near, a gentle reminder went out to all country heads to utilise this wonderful opportunity to promote their country chapter at the IFCR booth by bringing IFCR material — banners, flags, pictures, posters — for display. Those unable to travel to Singapore were invited to forward the same through any Rotarian friends attending from their country.
IFCR sincerely thanked Rtn. Mohan Narsimhan of Rotary Singapore for coming forward to support the booth, along with a couple of local volunteers, on all five days of the convention — with the hope that a good response might see IFCR Singapore ready for launch shortly. The booth number was 1504 in the House of Friendship.
