One of the founding nations of IFCR, hosting World Festivals and touring the cricketing world.
Australia has been at the heart of IFCR since the formal launch of the fellowship in the Long Room of the Melbourne Cricket Club on 25th May 1993, courtesy of the Australian Cricket Board.
Australian Rotarians have hosted international festivals at the Hunter Valley (2004) and Melbourne (2019). There have also been national festivals such as those at Adelaide, Bendigo, Wagga Wagga and Lilac Hill. Members have toured India, New Zealand, the UK and South Africa — always carrying the spirit that even Australian sledging is more polite in Rotary cricket.
